We are a non-profit shop providing unique beautiful gifts for our area. We‘re operated mainly by volunteers in which consigned and purchased hand crafted goods and collectibles are sold in our store. The surplus funds are distributed according to local needs. Today there are 20 historic Women’s Exchanges in the United States. In 2010, beautiful downtown Sherman was fortunate to become home to one of them.
To accomplish our goals, we raise funds from gift shop sales and events in order to donate money to local charities in Grayson County. When you shop at a Woman’s Exchange, you are giving twice because you are also giving back to the community.
If you have creative talent, perhaps you’d like to become a consignor, or if you enjoy meeting new people, we’re always looking for a friendly, capable volunteer.
